Laurel Soccer Club | Mission Statement

The Laurel Soccer Club is organized as a non-profit corporation under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and under the general corporation laws of the State of Maryland to operate exclusively for charitable and educational purposes without regard to race, creed, color, sex or national or ethnic origin.  The mission of the Laurel Soccer Club is to develop competitive youth teams by giving players the opportunities to develop their talents; to build positive character; and to promote principles of fair play by providing an enjoyable, fair, challenging, and rewarding soccer program.

Through the commitment and dedication of talented, experienced, and enthusiastic coaches, the club serves as a platform for all of its players to learn beyond the field, to instill good sportsmanship, cooperation, and teamwork, and to promote the growth of and develop an appreciation for the beautiful game of soccer.  It is our belief that our players, through participating in competitive soccer, will learn important values, life lessons, and principles, which will help them throughout their life.

We provide opportunities for players to try out and join our teams to participate in the "beautiful game".  We make efforts to have teams and programs available that will enable our players to play at levels that will challenge them to perform, compete, and excel.
