2003 Girls Tigers Goal Keeper Try Out Notice

The Laurel Tigers 03, a premier girls travel team will be holding Goal Keeper tryouts 11:00am - 12:45pm February 4th, 10th, and 17th at Grace Episcopal School in Kensington, Md.   The Tigers are made up of players from Bethesda, Kensington, Takoma Park, and Silver Spring. 

About the team

The team plays as a 2003 team while the majority of the girls are 2004’s.  This provides the girls an advantage of playing against older players, which improves their development.

Play in NCSL (last season division 3; may remain in division 3 or be moved to division 2 for the Spring 2018 season)

Participate in preseason and post-season tournaments (having won multiple tournaments over the last couple years)

During the Spring season(s) the team trains in Kensington and Silver Spring three times a week.

Players participate in weeklong summer team camp.

Team oriented focus on player development; preparing the girls for rigors of High School soccer.

Bob Gac (Head Coach) and Alvaro Puig (Assistant Head Coach)

Bob has been coaching for 11 years.  Teams he’s led have won multiple tournaments, won division tittles and has had many players go on to play high school, Academy and the Olympic Development Program.   Alvaro has been coaching for 8 years enjoying success developing players and fielding wining teams.  He grew up with a love of soccer that continues to this day; playing as often as he is able.
